  • Dental Implants
Made out of titanium or other materials that mesh well with the human body. They can be used in the upper jaw or lower jaw, and will be permanent, as they are attached by way of an anchor, going into your jaw bone and gum tissue. They don’t have to be taken out to clean – they can be cleaned the same way as your other teeth.
  • Dental Hygiene Cleaning/Oral Exams
Consultation with your dentist will determine your frequency; it is a decision you make together, with the proper professional education from Dental Associates of West Michigan as your guide.
  • Emergency Dental
Dental Associates of West Michigan has the experience, necessary emergency services, and compassion to treat any emergency dental need, and would certainly be happy to help answer any questions you may have regarding Emergency Dental Services. For Emergencies call: 616.554.5970
  • Crowns and Bridges
Crowns and Bridges are used to restore the tooth to its original shape, to strengthen a tooth, or to improve the cosmetic appearance of a damaged tooth. Dental Associates of West Michigan knows just what dental crowns can do for you to meet your unique needs for this dental application.
  • Extractions and Oral Surgery
Extraction can also be indicated to create the structurally needed room for teeth to come in straight. They may also be removed if straightening cannot be accomplished due to the fact that they are badly positioned in the mouth. Additionally, teeth can be removed as a patient will request this for economic reasons – the tooth/teeth may be so badly decayed they have to come out, or they need to have crowns or other treatments that the patient cannot afford.
  • Root Canal
Damage to the pulpal nerves in a tooth can cause a need for a Root Canal. Sometimes the pain it can cause can spread to nearby teeth as well, making it difficult for you to identify exactly which tooth is affected. Dental Associates of West Michigan can identify the source of your root canal problem, and have the expertise to treat this conservatively with in-office root canal therapy.
  • Non Surgical Gum Treatment
This is a conservative approach to treating gum, or periodontal disease. It is certainly the treatment of choice for a patient who might be afraid of surgery, or simply wants the most conservative, non-invasive treatment. It also meets dental standards of care in the treatment of mild to moderate gum disease. It may take several appointments with your dentist to thoroughly treat the pathogenic bacteria that is causing the disease.
  • Teeth Whitening
A thorough examination and cleaning from your dentist is recommended before using any whitening (bleaching) products. That is also the first step in finding out if your teeth and gums are healthy enough for the whitening products.
  • Full and Partial Dentures
The best decision for your optimal dental health is to extract diseased or decaying teeth, and replace them with dentures. Your Dental Associates Of West Michigan have the experience and technology to fill those gaps and restore that fabulous smile, whether you need partial or full dentures.
  • Porcelain Veneers and Cosmetic Bonding
Restore chipped or broken teeth, fill in gaps, or re-color your teeth, another great choice is cosmetic bonding. Cosmetic bondinguses a composite resin that is used for various structural as well as cosmetic purposes.
